About Us
CHE LOVE
I’ve been working for SMUSD since 2000. I moved to the San Marcos Community when I began my college career at CSUSM in 1994.
Since 2000, I’ve worked at San Marcos Middle School and San Elijo Middle School. I’ve been a full-time 8th grade history teacher for over 16 years, in addition, I’ve dedicated more than a decade to coaching middle school sports like surfing, basketball, track, and cross country to teenagers.
I hope your child will join us on the East Coast Tour this year! Mr. Love.
STEWART PALMER
My name is Stewart Palmer and I teach 8th grade United States History at San Elijo Middle School. I have been teaching for eleven years, nine of which have been at San Elijo Middle School and two years at Mission Hills High School. I have also coached the soccer teams at both schools.
I was born and raised in the south and I am a proud graduate of the University of Alabama. I have lived in many different places besides California, including Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia (Washington, D.C.) and Nevada. I have lived in the San Diego area since 1997.
My wife, Alison, is also a teacher. She teaches 3rd grade and has been a teacher for over 15 years. We have a wonderful and kind son named Luke.
My interests and passions are family, travelling, music, history, and of course, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide! Mr. Palmer.
